Format + Size
This workshop places a strong emphasis on photography and involves physical exertion, including hiking on safe, flat trails with uphill verticals. We aim to explore as many locations as possible within a condensed timeframe, so there’s no doubt – this workshop is centered around photography.
What sets this workshop apart is its timing. Taking place during the Midnight Sun, our sessions could extend into the night. This is, of course, dependent on the weather. By joining this workshop, be prepared for photography to occur at unconventional hours, as we strive to capture the best possible light.
Beyond photography, we’ll engage in group conversations midday between sessions. These discussions will cover business topics and reflect on your journey as an artistic entrepreneur. However, based on the experiences of previous participants, we understand that photography and exploration form the heart of this workshop.
Host
Cole Roberts will host this workshop. Cole grew up in Canada and became nomadic at an early age due to hockey. Hockey took him around North America, where he eventually settled in Vancouver.
Ten years of working in restaurants followed by a masters degree in marketing et voila – a career in photography. Photography led him to starting Nordica in 2009, Way Up North in 2015, becoming a Fujifilm X-Photographer in 2016, and co-founding Kolla in 2018. He now lives in Gävle, Sweden with his wife and three kids.
Included / Not-included
Shared accommodations are included, providing three nights at Lofoten Basecamp (check-in on May 20th and check-out on May 23rd). Rooms are shared, and each unit is equipped with private bathrooms and kitchen suites.
