When & Where

April 22nd – 24th, 2024

Join us as we gather in Reykjavik on the evening of April 22nd, ready to embark on a photographic adventure towards the charming village of Vik I Myrdal, our base for this journey.

From the dramatic seascapes to the enchanting waterfalls, South Iceland awaits to unveil its treasures. On the 23rd and 24th, we’ll chase the light from dawn till dusk, capturing the raw beauty of this storied landscape.

We’ll start our first day with the sun rising over the iconic features of the South Coast, immersing ourselves in the rugged terrain that defines this region. The second day offers a gentler start, allowing a well-deserved rest before we continue our exploration of the South’s captivating vistas.

Throughout our expedition, we’ll have the opportunity to photograph two couples against the backdrop of Iceland’s most picturesque locations—creating stunning imagery that intertwines love with the wild spirit of the land.

Prepare for an experience that’s more than just a workshop—it’s a quest for awe, a pursuit of the sublime, a true photographer’s pilgrimage.

Format & Size

This workshop is photography-intensive and physically demanding, involving hikes on safe, flat trails with some uphill climbs. We’ll photograph two couples during sessions at sunrise and sunset. Our goal is to cover as many locations as possible in a limited timeframe, so be prepared for a photography-focused experience.

Beyond photography, we’ll engage in midday group conversations between sessions. These discussions are spontaneous and informal brainstorming sessions. Don’t expect a 2-hour keynote or PowerPoint presentation in a formal setting – our approach is conversational, centered on your experiences rather than ours. However, based on past ‘Roadies’, we know that the heart of this workshop lies in photography and exploration.
