Description

Happily Ever After – Wisdom for Photographers on Working With Planners

I run an event planning firm based in Vancouver, and we predominantly plan weddings. We are all about personalization – we never create the same event twice. I see event planning as an artistic endeavour, and our medium is expressing our clients personality in the physical manifestation of a party. How is this even a job? It’s so much fun that it rarely seems like work.

With 10 years of event planning experience, I feel like I’ve seen it all, or most of it anyway. I’ll be sharing some insight to a planners job and perspective, why they do the mysterious (aka annoying) things they do, and some tips and tricks on how to work together with planners in a mutually beneficial way.
